Roby has returned to Italy, where he talked with some journalists, and he had hinted that he would continue to play soccer. As reported by Datasport, when talking about his vacation and the World Cup, Roby said "when I was in Argentina I went for hunting everyday. I had not watched any match of Italy (in the World Cup), I only knew they were knocked out during my flight. I can understand the disappointment of the Azzurri, but I had been disappointed a month ago and had to accept it. I don't know if it was Trapattoni who made mistakes, but sincerely I am not interested."

About his future, Roby said "I really don't know where I am heading to. I must decide it calmly. I still haven't contacted (Brescia president) Corioni and (Brescia coach) Mazzone, but I will surely have a chat with Corioni very soon."

And about his former teammate Guardiola who has moved to Roma, Roby said "Pep is one of the greatest player and it has been an honour for me to play with him, but his departure surely doesn't affect my decision."

About coach Mazzone staying with Brescia, Roby said "it encouraged me but I cannot decide only based on this. But certainly I have a solid relationship with him, so with Brescia, it had been the most beautiful two years."

Finally Roby said "only my head can push me to continue."
