On Saturday, Roby went to Coccaglio to visit his teammates during the last training session for the match against Chievo on Sunday. He was welcomed by every single person in the training ground, then he stayed to have a chat with coach Mazzone and president Corioni.
As reported by Datasport, Brescia team doctor Alicicco said that Baggio will surely be able to play in the last match of the season against Bologna.
On the other hand, according to Datasport, national team coach Trapattoni clearly stated that Baggio was still in his consideration. At the beginning of a television show, when Trapattoni was shown a picture with the forward candidates for the World Cup squad, which included Vieri, F.Inzaghi, Montella, Delvecchio, Del Piero, Marazzina and Di Vaio, he said "you have not put Baggio in!" Then he seriously examined the case of Baggio, he said that despite the injury, Roby was always in his consideration. The coach then said that he faced a similar situation back in 1962, that he was injuried in April, just before the World Cup finals, but he was included anyway. Finally Trapattoni said that he believed in miracles.
