3 goals in 3 consecutive matches! When Inter met Roma at the San Siro Stadium, Roberto Baggio once again scored the winning goal; near the end of the first half, Moriero's shot was blocked by Roma's goalkeeper, and Roby chipped the ball over the defender who was in front of the goal line. Plus Baggio's assist to Vieri for the first goal, Inter Milan won by 2-1, and close the gap between them and league leader Juventus to 5 points.

A last minute goal cost Inter the match. They lost to home team Fiorentina by 1-2, Vieri was shown a red card near the end of the match. Baggio didn't play again, but when Recoba scored the only goal for Inter, he ran towards Roby at once. Another thing was that during half time, some fans asked Baggio for signature, it's not sure whether they were Inter fans or Fiorentina fans.

4 European clubs have shown their interest on Baggio, they are Italian team Perugia, Scot team Glasgow Rangers, Greek team Olympiakos, and French team Marseille. Baggio once said that he would like to stay in Italy, so Perugia should be the first choice. But Japanese midfielder Hidetoshi Nakata said he would not leave in the middle of the season, so it's still not clear where will Baggio go. Maybe he'll stay with Inter until the end of this season.
