Roby had declared that he might retire after his programme at the clinic Isokinetic in Bologna. Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Inter Milan, Bologna and Turkish team Galatasaray had shown their interest in Baggio, but Brescia president Corioni would try his best to keep Roby in the team.

A memorable victory dedicated to Brescia's memorable player Vittorio Mero, who passed away in a car accident back in January.
According to Datasport, after yesterday's match, Roby said "I am happy to be playing for 90 minutes, previously I had only participate in a part of the matches. I do not know what to say to Trap (national team coach), I can only hope."

Roby's penalty kick was actually blocked by Pagliuca, but he then immediately went to score from the rebound. Roby finished this season with eleven goals in Serie A.
